Oberlin Learning and Design

Born and raised in the great state of Michigan, I stuck around Virginia after college before moving back home. Whenever I’m not working on my numerous side-hustles, I like hiking, working out, trying new foods, and hosting friends and family. I’m a trivia fiend, a board game aficionado, and all-around learning nerd.

My Passion for Education

From an early age, I was encouraged by my supportive parents and involved teachers to explore, test, tinker, experiment, and imagine. I developed a love for learning and reading and gained unwavering confidence in my ability to learn anything. I might not know a particular concept now, but I know that I can master any idea (especially with a little help from YouTube).

I recognize that many did not receive the same encouragement and confidence to learn as I did. This is what drives me to educate; to see others experience the inherent joy of learning. I design education to engage learners and help other educators do the same in their courses, programs, and platforms.
